Each year he organises a Sacred Journey in Northern India – an incredible group journey through the iconic spiritual cities of this region : Rishikesh, Haridwar and Dharamshala.

Amit met Sri Mooji Baba in 2013 and he encouraged Amit to release an album, with his blessing. Mooji Ji gave his group the name Shivaratri Café, and he has been playing in Sri Mooji’s Satsangs every year, in Rishikesh, by his love and grace.

Amit has dedicated his entire life to Shiva. As a blessed child he was raised by his mother in the Durga energy, and from his father in the Kali energy. He studied meditation since childhood, learning and practicing with his masters.

Amit learned about the Sufi culture from his beloved Muslim Master. He also finished his Kryia Yoga meditation with the Hindu Yogi Swami Shiva. From 1999-2002 he lived in Osho Commune, where he took Sanyas (commitment to Truth) and studied meditation techniques.

Sri Mooji and the Sangha first heard the group playing one night in February 2013, at the ‘Freedom Cafe’, a restaurant Sri Mooji often visited in Lakshman Jhula, Rishikesh, India. They were deeply touched by the beautiful, mystical atmosphere created by the music.

From that night, Shivaratri Cafe made a heart connection with Sri Mooji and the Sangha and have since given a number of concerts in the hall where the Sri Mooji shares Satsang while in Rishikesh. The CD: Shivaratri Cafe – This Night we will not sleep, 2014  also includes two fusion songs from Soham and Omkara, who are musicians with Mooji Sangha.

Sri Mooji has blessed the music of Shivaratri Cafe, and says that it carries the fragrance and energy of Lord Shiva Himself.”

Love, Mooji Sangha

DIGITAL ALBUMS

Shivaratri Cafe Music
I totally Totally LOVE this album. I am so happy that Shiva, Parvati and Ganapati made this album possible through you. You all have such divine voices. AUM

Rashila

We find your music to be pure magic. Our favorite piece "Mooji Baba Namo Namah" is such beautifully balanced hymn, so light, so happy, yet full of deep devotion and love. We used it as the soundtrack of a video slideshow about one of Mooji Baba's online retreats. (https://youtu.be/-NEJbAMvlNs) Your songs feel so genuine and quite unique it their sound-forms, outside any genre that we are aware of. We've listened to your album "This Night We Will Not Sleep" countless times over the years and never seem to tire. It even found its way into the Spotify music playlist in our medical office here in Honolulu, Hawaii. (Spotify: "Sounds of Unity") We love you guys. You brought us so much joy.

A spiritual gift in music form. Mooji Baba Namo Namah is my favourite track. My heart rejoices with this song, in the realisation that Shri Mooji's pointing has made possible in me; an unveiling of who I am. I bow in respect to the revelations of your grace Shri Mooji; you without you, which is also myself.
