ABOUT
SHIVARATRI CAFE MUSIC

BEGINNINGS
Sri Mooji Baba heard Amit singing in a cafe, in 2013, in Rishikesh. Mooji Ji gave the group at that time (Amit, Gaurav and Vineet) the name of Shivaratri Café and produced their first album, “This Night We Will Not Sleep”, featuring Omkara and Sohan.
In the following years the group members took different directions and Amit now performs under the name Shivaratri Cafe, with different guest musicians.
Amit has been playing alongside various artists in Sri Mooji’s Satsangs every year, in Rishikesh, by his love and grace.

“Sri Mooji and the Sangha first heard the group playing one night in February 2013, at the ‘Freedom Cafe’, a restaurant Sri Mooji often visited in Lakshman Jhula, Rishikesh, India. They were deeply touched by the beautiful, mystical atmosphere created by the music.
From that night, Shivaratri Cafe made a heart connection with Sri Mooji and the Sangha and have since given a number of concerts in the hall where the Sri Mooji shares Satsang while in Rishikesh. The CD: Shivaratri Cafe – This Night we will not sleep, 2014 also includes two fusion songs from Soham and Omkara, who are musicians with Mooji Sangha.
Sri Mooji has blessed the music of Shivaratri Cafe, and says that it carries the fragrance and energy of Lord Shiva Himself.”
LOVE, MOOJI SANGHA
